- I am a wife & a mother of 4 comfortably residing in CA. If it were not for God loving me so much I would not be here. I grew up in poverty in the city of SanFrancisco. I remember the food boxes with the govrnmnt cheese and the powdered eggs (that was some good stuff though).. I remember the welfare checks that came on the 1st & 15th. The 'Page St. Projects' is where I grew up. When I was 8 years old.. life as I knew it was forever changed. My mom chose heroine over my brother and I and was estranged for 10 years. I blamed myself for that for a long time. I was painfully molested continuously from age 9 through 11 by my father.. I thought for the longest time that it was my fault and I was so ashamed that I couldn't look anybody in the eye. I ran away when I was 13 yrs old.. with a man who was 25. I was beaten by him in public and in private on a daily basis for 2 years up until I'd had enough. The devil didn't win. He may have knocked me down a few times, but the only thing that matters is that I got back up EVERY TIME. I am who God says I am. God adds His Super to my natural.. which gives me the ability to do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.
