Life Is Full Of Choices.. But Not Every Choice Is Full Of Life..
Choose Life
Over the past few years, I have come to realize that Prosperity, Happiness & Peace, are self-made choices that create LIFE.. While Poverty, Hoplessness, and Depression are self-made choices that create Death.
We make decisions every second of every day of our lives. We choose what we do, what we say, how we act and react, what we eat, whether to turn right or left, whether to look up or down.. everything that we represent.. are a result of the choices we have made, are making.. and will make.
For most of my life.. I chose to be a victim of my circumstances. By no means am I any kind of expert on the subject of psychological ability or disability.. but I do have a testimony.
NOTE: Not everyone has a testimony. There has to be an occurance of revelation, realization.. a 'wake up call' so to speak.. that transforms your mentality from negative to positive.. which in turn prompts you to 'act' according to your strengths and ability.. before it can be regarded as a testimony.
What I failed to realize when I allowed myself to be victimized by my own 'woe is me' attitude.. is that EVERYONE has been through their own share of hardship. Some have chosen to give up.. some have chosen to become stagnant.. and some have chosen to move forward. After a little over 20 years of being stagnant.. I have chosen life. If it were not for Gods grace.. His goodness.. His mercy.. I shudder to think where I would be. Whatever your circumstances were, or whatever your circumstances are.. you can choose to look above them.. or you can choose to drown in them. The only way that I know how to look above them.. is to keep my eyes on God.
